Dear Kevin,
You previously had a moustache though no longer do. This is a similar situation to my friend George, who experimented with facial hair throughout the early 1990s, but is now a comfortably clean-shaven man. I therefore thought you might be able to answer a question I don’t feel he would answer if I asked: Why did you grow a moustache? Was it a) personal choice b) for medical reasons or c) to win a competition at Butlins, the prize being a hamper of ham. (I believe George’s to be the latter).
